I love camping, living history, hanging out with great friends. I do something called Pysanka. Better known as a really hard way to do an easter egg but I love it. And do it year round. I love to sew and embroider. I am trying to turn that into a home business. I am part of a living history group that recreates the medieval time period (Renaissance). From the 600s to the 1600s. It is so much frun to walk through history. To actually have men treat ladies with chivalry. When a man's word is thier bond. When honor and respect are true. I hold these values dear. They don't stop on the weekends when the events are over. I teach them to my kids. I love the ocean. Or rather I love to live near it. I don't like to go to the beach much, I am not a fan of me in a bikini. I would rather swim in a pool. But walks along the beach are a big thing. Yeah I know, cliche but hey, it's true. I love to look for shells and things. I -DO- stop to smell the flowers roses. I let the simple things in life amuse me. I stop every night to look up and stare at the stars if only for a moment. I hang onto the wonder of my child hood with both hands. I chase fireflies. I let inchworms and Ladybugs crawl along my hands. I -do- hug trees. I close my eyes when the wind blows through my hair so that I can better -feel- the wind. As adults we forget to just -be-. Just be ourselves. Just be human. To stop worring about bills, and work, and live. To just stop and breathe in the air, the wind, and let the sun shine on our faces. I strive very hard to every once in a while remember. It's amazing what five minutes in the sunshine can do to your spirit. And no.... I am not that crazy of a freak either. I am just a Rose smelling child like bubbley little soul that loves to be happy.
